#winewednesday is here and we’re celebrating with a go-to winter dinner wine, William Murdoch Syrah ’10 from the world renowned Gimblett Gravels region in Hawke’s Bay.
In the 1890’s William Murdoch served as a guardsman in the Coldstream regiment. The winery strives to emulate this by producing wines with integrity, harmony, and authenticity from its 13.15 ha site in the heart of the Gimblett Gravels.

Craving a steak and fries dinner and want to upscale it? This is a perfect companion.
A wild expression with refined flavours, silky smooth mouth but still has some grit to it. Delectable with just enough power and grace, spice and tobacco with velvet and pepper to spice up your “go-to” winter dinner.
