If I were a wine I would be a Bordeaux blend- lots of character, nuance and always looking for the ultimate blend.
I have worked in the wine industry for the past 16 years in Napa, California, Mendoza, Argentina and now here in New Zealand. I have worn a lot of hats and beyond marketing, I have driven tractors in the vineyard and picked grapes, made my own wine and worked in sales. I have worked for boutique wineries, startups and established wineries such as Villa Maria.
I love branding, identity, packaging, social media, and communications for wineries.
If I were a wine I would be a Pinot Gris – European heritage, dry in style but with plenty of spice and flavour.
I fell in love with wine – and New Zealand – about 10 years ago. Since then I’ve had various marketing roles at NZ Winegrowers, Matakana Estate, Wine Intelligence (UK) and Villa Maria before launching Sip NZ in 2015.
I’m particularly passionate about connecting wineries and wine lovers via social media and content marketing.
