AD 💕 Fancy some exquisite cuisine, award-winnin AD 💕 Fancy some exquisite cuisine, award-winning wines and breath-taking views this summer? Then hop onto a ferry or board the heli to Waiheke Island and pay the friendly team at Cable Bay a visit.

Savour their dry 2020 Pinot Noir Rosé from their estate-vineyard in the Awatere Valley in Marlborough as the sun sets over the City of Sails.

Light florals, watermelon, raspberry and nectarine aromas, followed by juicy pink grapefruit and pomegranate flavours make this stunning Rosé a must-sip this season.

AD 💕 With a long history of European tradition, AD 💕 With a long history of European tradition, and a good dose of Kiwi ingenuity, owners Edel and Warwick have combined old world knowledge and customs with new world terroir to produce a collection of outstanding New Zealand fine wines at Johanneshof Cellars in Marlborough.

One stellar example of this fusion is their 2018 Pinot Noir Rosé made from grapes grown and hand harvested from their Maybern Single Vineyard. It's dry in style with a beautiful translucent crimson colour and a bouquet of fruit flavours dominated by white peach and honeysuckle, lifted by some citrus. The palate immediately demands attention with its strong flavours of red apple, melon and flowers with its silky smooth texture and fine tannins. The notably soft acidity is achieved by carefully monitoring the ripening in the vineyard and choosing the picking time when all components are in balance.

AD 💕 Expertly crafted by the world’s first Ma AD 💕 Expertly crafted by the world’s first Māori owned wine company, today’s Rosé is brought to you by Kono, a whānau-owned company based in Te Tauihu, the top of the South Island. With more than 4000 owner families, their purpose is to preserve and enhance our taonga for present and future generations.

Their Tohu Rosé 2020 from sunny Nelson displays aromas of crushed summer berries and rock melon, leading to a palate of pomegranate and strawberry with hints of rhubarb and pink grapefruit. Finely balanced and deliciously dry, this vibrant and fresh 100% Pinot Noir Rosé has a wonderfully long and crisp finish.

AD 💕 When a trip to Italy is off the cards, hea AD 💕 When a trip to Italy is off the cards, head an hour north of Auckland and arrive in beautiful Matakana wine country, also known as the Tuscany of New Zealand. Nestled amongst the gentle rolling hills and on the way to Omaha Beach is Sculptureum, a beautiful garden and sculpture park offering a range of estate grown wines alongside tasty delights at their Rothko restaurant.

Giving a nod to Camille the artist himself, Sculptereum‘s limited release 2020 Camille Rosé is crisp and dry in style with aromatics of strawberries and white florals. Melon, red berries and citrus please the palate, while natural acidity and generous mouth feel add balance.

AD 💕 Take your tastebuds on a hike to Central O AD 💕 Take your tastebuds on a hike to Central Otago with the 25 Steps Rosé 2020 by Akarua.

The grapes for this pink sip are grown on a stunning single site in the Pisa sub-region. The unique vineyard consists of 25 Steps aka terraces, each 800m long with 2 rows per step and 120m elevation.

Climbing the steps to Rosé heaven, the third release of this Rosé promises quince, pomegranate, white peach and Thai basil aromas, with an earthy note of rooibos tea. Cherry blossom, roasted hazelnuts and cranberries flavours follow. Its fine acidity and finish are laced with a delicate thread of vanilla bean.
